Cider Project Featured in the Messenger
Last week, Jack Sparr from the Discovery community wrote an article featured in the Messenger. The article detailed the HOPE cider project inconjunction with the Walking Wednesday event. Thanks Jack for your coverage of this event.
Buddy Bench Project Completed!
Sebastion and Trevon finished the Buddy Bench and brought the bench out to the playground. The bench project was highlighted in the announcements.

Table Project Update
Our group of 7th and 8th grade students began the assembly process of the table project. Nice teamwork!
Buddy Bench Update
Sebastion and Trevon continue work on the buddy bench. Letters that the Pre-K and K teams painted were attached to the backrest Here are some photos of their progress today.

Table Project Continues
Our team of of 7th and 8th graders began measuring and cutting the materials according to the plans. Mr D. reviewed angles and measurement techniques with the students.
Buddy Bench Construction
Two students are busy in the HOPE classroom building the "Buddy Bench" for the playground. The bench will be a place which students who need someone to play with can sit and wait for a friend to come over and invite them to play.
Cider Project Pictures
Students from the HOPE classroom processed the apples collected at the orchard. Students made over 20 gallons of cider! Samples were provided to the students and teachers of the school. Also, samples were provided to the students and adults who participated in our Walking Wednesday program. Job well done!

Apple Drop Day at Shelburne Orchard
A team of students traveled to Shelburne Orchard today from the HOPE classroom to gather apples for our cider production project next week.

Table Project Kicks Off
Our team of 7th and 8th graders have started a project which the team will use to explore and learn how to use the tools within the classroom. Here are some pictures of there recent work.
